Another perhaps obvious question, however, if we don't know what structures we have we will certainly have to locate them once we find out. GPS coordinates taken at mid-span centre-line of each structure are recorded in the master list for all structures. Coupled with elevation photographs of the structure this allows for positive field identification of every bridge. It also allows the bridge inventory to be easily included as a layer in the municipalities GIS.
